Golf – Masters 2015 leaderboard day two: Jordan Spieth puts foot down as Tiger Woods moves up

Can anyone stop Jordan Spieth running away with the Masters? Big names are lined up to try but they’ve got a lot of ground to make up on the record-breaking Texan.

Charley Hoffman refused to let Spieth, who beat Raymond Floyd’s 36-hole total which had stood since 1976 – out of his sight and is five back while Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose and Paul Casey are within touching distance.

Phil Mickelson is also hanging around while Tiger Woods is further back having rediscovered his touch and sits alongside Rory McIlroy after the world No 1 was made to work hard just to make the cut.

So, stick with Sportsmail’s live coverage of the Masters for the latest action as it happens, any breaking news and the very best pictures.

We’ve also got the Daily Mail’s golf correspondent Derek Lawrenson and the Mail on Sunday’s chief sports writer Oliver Holt chipping in from the course and the tournament leaderboard always on display so you can keep track of how your favourite players are getting on.

Don’t forget, we also want to know what you think, who you’re backing and any Masters memories.
