The Podium Lounge – Singapore’s only triple-threat F1 weekend party features more entertainment, celebrities and luxury highlights


With less than two weeks away from what may possibly be Singapore’s last Formula 1 Grand Prix night-race, the city-state’s most glamorous F1 weekend after-party The Podium Lounge is set to host its biggest and best blowout for its ninth consecutive year as the key trackside event highlight of the Grand Prix Season held at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.


Nothing but glitz and glamour awaits over 9,000 guests attending the three-night action-packed celebration, on Friday 15th, Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September featuring main headline acts, Fierce Angel with Mark Doyle, the creator of Hed Kandi (replacing Pixie Geldof), Grammy Award winners Coolio and Macy Gray respectively, performing live along with celebrity fashion shows, grid girl and aerialist performances, a charity auction of rare and authenticated F1 memorabilia as well as art, wine, whisky, watch, fragrance, super car and private jet showcases.

Guests will be entertained by Formula 1 Legend Giancarlo Fisichella who made history in 2008 when he drove the first ever Formula One car on Singapore’s Marina Bay circuit, during practice for the inaugural night race. Giancarlo will be DJing and hosting the drivers, celebrity guests and performers on the red carpet alongside E! News Asia host and Miss Universe Indonesia 2014, Maria Rahajeng.

This year’s dazzling line-up features the creator of Hed Kandi, Mark Doyle and the Fierce Angel collective with live entertainment including ‘Fierce Diva’ Soraya Vivian (vocals), London’s most sought-after celebrity saxophonist Lady V and Cuban percussionist Pablo Calzado on the drums. Having played The Podium Lounge in both Abu Dhabi and Singapore previously, the crowd favourites will be kicking off the Formula One weekend party with their live performance on Friday, 15 September.

Setting the tone for the glamorous ultra-lounge is WingsOverAsia’s newest Diamond DA 40 private jet showcased for the first time ever in a specially created outdoor VIP experience at The Podium Lounge besides Formula One’s gate 10.

Additionally, jet-setters with a need for speed will be thrilled to get up close and personal with the next generation Aventador S super sports car, as well as the Huracan Coupe, both of which will be in full viewing mode.

Purveyor of fine and rare whiskies, The B28 Whisky Fund, in collaboration with the region’s top whisky curators and specialists, has assembled a historic portfolio valued in excess of a million dollars to be showcased over the F1 weekend at The Podium Lounge.

To continue the feast for the senses, Sundaram Tagore Gallery will exhibit hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of art in their Primary Source presentation, focusing on work by internationally acclaimed artists such as Annie Leibovitz, Hiroshi SenjuMiya AndoKim Joon and more.

Complementing the artistic theme The Podium Lounge welcomes world-famous speed painter Armin Flossdorf of F1 Arts, who will be performing live throughout the weekend; joined by Paul Oz, an explosive portrait artist who has created work for Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton, Sir Jackie Stewart, Bruno Mars and many more.
